Patnitop - The Land Where Royalty Descended
The origin of the name Patnitop is a distortion of the original name 'Patan Da Talab' which means 'Princess Pond'. - Flight - The closest airport from Patnitop is Satwari Airport that is 111 km away from the destination. The airport has domestic and international flights as well, running to and from on daily basis.
- Road - Panitop is well connected by bus to nearby cities and towns such as Udhampur (50 km), Jammu (112 km), Katra (80 km) and Srinagar (180 km). From these cities to panitops, various options are available for buses, Volvos, A/C sleepers and semi-sleepers, non-A/C sleepers and non-sleepers.
