Thailand's Biggest And Best Traveling Destination
The biggest and probably most well-known island in Thailand is Phuket. The allure includes clear seas, white sand beaches, hot Thai food, and excellent diving and snorkeling. Tourists travel to Phuket from all over the world in search of excitement and relaxation, making the island one of the most well-liked vacation spots in Thailand. The weather in Phuket is extraordinary, with warm, sunny days all year long. Mid-May through October is typically monsoon season, but rainfall may only be one or two times per day during this time.

HOW TO REACH PHUKET
Flight -
The third largest airport in Thailand, Phuket International Airport, serves Phuket. The majority of foreign travelers arrive at Phuket's northernmost airport from Asia Pacific and Europe. Numerous international cities, including Abu Dhabi, Melbourne, Seoul, Manila, Singapore, Beijing, etc., as well as Thai cities, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Udon Thani, etc., are linked to the airport. Dragonair, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Korean Air, SilkAir, Thai Airways, Tigerair, Air China, and many other well-known carriers fly into this airport.
Rail -
Phuket doesn't have any railroads. The closest railway station is Surat Thani, which is 3�4 hours by bus from Phuket. From Bangkok's main railway station, numerous trains travel all the way to Singapore in the south. The Phun Phin railway stop is the one that is most convenient to Surat Thani. Rassada Pier in Phuket Town and Ko Phi Phi Island are connected by ferries. Speedboats are available for travel to and from Ko Racha (45 minutes), Phi Phi (1 to 1.5 hours), the Similan Islands (3 hours), and other islands.
Road -
One of the best methods to get to Phuket is by bus. Regular intercity and municipal buses that are both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned travel straight to Phuket from Bangkok's Southern Terminal Station. Since the trip takes between 12 and 14 hours, the overnight buses are the most common option because they are very comfortable. Additionally, private vehicles depart from Khaosarn Road. The best and most effective VIP buses are those operated by the government.
HOW TO GET AROUND
Local Bus -
Public transportation only runs between Phuket Town and the beach communities. The majority of the services are operated by "songthaews," which are small trucks with roofs and the only full-size buses that travel these routes. The neighborhood market on Ranong Road is where the bulk of buses leave from.
Rentals -
There are many businesses that hire out automobiles, bicycles, and motorcycles. Although renting a car is a cheap method to get around, it isn't very safe. For outsiders, the winding roads and Thai traffic laws present challenges. Among the rental businesses that are active in Phuket are Avis, Hertz, Phuket Taxi, and National.
Taxi -
Taxis and tuk-tuks are frequently used transportation options in the city. There are two different kinds of taxis: the standard sedan-style cabs (yellow and red with a placard reading "Taxi-Meter"), which are also available. The second category consists of all the unrelated cars that serve as unauthorized cabs. Even better, request that your accommodation arrange for a metered taxi for you. There are also "motosai" bicycle taxis, in which the operators dress in vibrant vests. These are not particularly secure or cozy.
