HOW TO REACH GUILIN

  • Flight - Guilin Liangjiang International Airport (KWL) is located about 17 miles from the city centre. About 50 airlines connect cities to domestic cities and to foreign countries such as Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
  • Rail - Guilin Railway Station (South Railway Station) and North Railway Station are the two main stations for passenger transport in the city. The city is a hub for the Hunan-Guangxi Railway and the Guilin-Guangzhou High-Speed ​​Railway, so there are many trains arriving and departing each day. South Station is located south of the city center and is easier to reach than North Station.
  • Road - Most tour buses to surrounding cities such as Guangxi and Guangdong depart from the South Bus Station. There are three bus stations: South Bus Station, Qintan Bus Station and North Bus Station.
  • Sea - The city has two main passenger docks: One of these is the Mopanchamp Passenger Transport Dock, located near Mount Mopanchamp, about 17 miles (28 kilometers) from downtown. The dock is designed like a landscaped garden and fully equipped, including five waiting shelters. The other wharf is the Pearl River Wharf, located 32 kilometers (about 20 miles) southeast of the city center and 2 kilometers (about 1.2 miles) by water from Mopanshan Wharf.
