The Capitoline Museums, also known as "Musei Capitolini," are a group of museums with a sizable collection of statues, paintings, and artefacts from Rome's past that are situated in Piazza del Campidoglio in Rome.

HOW TO REACH CAPITOLINE MUSEUM

  • Flight - If you want to reach Capitoline Museum, then note it down that the nearest airport is Rome Ciampino (CIA) Airport. The airport will take around 20 minutes to reach your destination. The second-most significant international airport in Rome is Ciampino Airport (CIA). It transports around 6 million passengers a year and is located 7,5 miles from the city center. Ryanair and Wizzair are only a couple of the low-cost carriers that fly out of Ciampino Airport, which is quite small.
  • Rail - The Frecciarossa high-speed trains take around an hour and a half to go between Rome and Florence and three hours to reach Milan. The majority of the other cities in the nation are also connected to Rome by slower trains known as the Frecciargento or Frecciabianca.
  • Road - We advise making a layover in places like Monaco, Genoa, Pisa, and Florence if you plan to drive around Europe or rent a car and are considering doing so to get to Rome. Otherwise, the drive could be tiresome. Alternately, you could take the easy and reasonably priced Bus Service Eurolines.

HOW TO GET AROUND

  • Metro - The closest Metro station in Rome is Colosseum, that is two stops from Termini. It is a beautiful 10-minute stroll along the Roman Forum's side from the Colosseum.
  • Bus - The Piazza Venezia will be circled by the majority of public buses travelling through the center of Rome at some point, but always double-check. At the Piazza Venezia, all of the well-known hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus companies in Rome make stops.
  • Cab - You can also choose the safest option- by taxi or cab, that will be a bit expensive than other alternatives but comfortable.
