A hotel confirmation, Airbnb booking, or an address where you're staying. Officers don't always ask, but it doesn't hurt to have it.
A bank statement or working credit card is usually all that's needed if they want reassurance that you can cover yourself.
Not required, but worth getting anyway - medical bills in Mexico can add up fast if something unexpected happens, and a basic policy takes the stress out of it.
