You are eligible for visa free entry
Unlike the Schengen Area's 90/180-day rule, Malaysia generally grants a fresh visa-free stay of up to 90 days on each eligible entry, subject to immigration approval.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your planned arrival date at a Malaysian airport. Make it a habit to check this well before you book, not the week before departure.
The MDAC is a mandatory online form required by most foreign travellers entering Malaysia, administered by the Immigration Department. It is completely free of charge - the only legitimate portal is imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main. Submit it no earlier than three days before your arrival date. You'll receive a submission confirmation that should be presented to immigration authorities upon arrival.
An Argentine passport meeting the validity requirement above, with enough blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
Your QR code from the official MDAC portal. Many airlines now check this at check-in, so have it ready on your phone before you leave home.
A confirmed ticket showing you're leaving Malaysia within your permitted stay - a return or onward ticket is generally accepted.
A hotel reservation, short-term rental booking, or a host invitation letter containing the host's name, address, and contact details.
Travellers may be asked to demonstrate sufficient funds for their stay, such as recent bank statements, credit cards, or other financial evidence.
Not a hard entry requirement, but genuinely worth having. Medical costs for visitors can add up quickly, and solid coverage keeps an unexpected situation from derailing your entire trip.
