You are eligible for visa free entry
180 days per calendar year is what you get, which is longer than many standard visa-free arrangements. Travellers should carefully monitor the total number of days spent in Armenia during the calendar year.
Your Albanian passport needs to show at least 3 months of remaining validity past the date you plan to leave Armenia. Travellers should verify passport validity before departure.
Holidays, catching up with family, transit, or a round of business meetings - all covered. Any activities beyond these purposes may require a visa or permit.
All official entry points are open to you - Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan being the main one for most travellers, along with recognised land border crossings.
No visa application needed beforehand, but border officers can still ask to see a few things, so have these ready:
A return ticket or any confirmed booking showing you're leaving Armenia before your time runs out.
Your hotel booking, apartment reservation, or a letter from whoever you're staying with in Armenia is generally accepted.
There are currently no special vaccination or health declaration requirements for entry - no vaccinations, no health forms to fill out before flying. However, travellers should check for updated health regulations before departure, just in case anything has changed.
Visa-free entry is still subject to immigration regulations - here's what to keep in mind before you go:
Entering Armenia under the visa-free arrangement and then picking up paid work or joining a course isn't allowed - Remove entirely. If either of those is part of your plan, get in touch with the Armenian embassy or consulate well ahead of time and apply for the right permit before your trip.
Armenia doesn't take overstaying lightly. Visitors must leave Armenia before the 180-day limit expires - or have already applied for a residence permit through the Armenian immigration office before that deadline hits. Overstaying may result in fines, deportation, or future entry restrictions.
You can come and go as many times as you like throughout the year - no restriction there. Just keep an eye on the total days you've accumulated across all your visits, because that 180-day annual ceiling applies to everything combined, not per trip.
